This one is better than that other Dell WM311 mouse - that one's design has problems (too low, hurts the angle) & eats batteries like no tomorrow.Mouse repeller Circuit Operation Microsoft mouse driver for Windows 3.x and Windows 95 defauls to 160 couns per inch. (actually this mouse is also manufactured by Logitech for Dell). Overall okay mouse - but if there's a logitech with nano-receiver & $15 price range, I would take that over this. The movement does seem a bit wierd at times, but I am not using it for drawing or precise pointing - so not my main concern. But I have it connect to both a XP and Win7, it messes it up badly - it wouldn't take connection for many times and require delete & repair. Similar experience with this BT mouse, if you connect to one and only one computer and one OS, you are fine. Movement is just plain wierd and not ergonomic. I have tried 2 of these Dells with built in bluetoth as well. I have an excellent ASUS blue tooth dongle. And its movement is just slightly out of phase, like a bad star trek episode. Like I said, not for everyone, but for a good basic easy to use e-reader that can be lugged anywhere, this is a good basic tough unit. Some people with expensive Ipads have bought this as a cheap supplement for travel and beach. ![]() ![]() Maybe the firmware in the latest ones is better, but this caused grief. I don't recommend taking out the SD card in and out to load it. One tip, only load items with the USB cable. The package comes with the required cables for the computer, and for charging from an outlet. Does PDF, but it doesn't like it if there are a lot of pictures. There are physical buttons for naviation, page turning and changing from portrait and landscape mode. I had a original KOBO that froze and only had a soft re-set and it is door jamb now. It will freeze up once in a while, but always is fine after resetting. I have never carried it in a case, and have dropped it hard many times, still keeps working. Tested on beaches in Florida and the Caribbean in direct sunlight. Allows grouping of books by author or interest, etc., instead of one big unorganized list. Unlike the Sony and Kobo I have also used, which just list the titles and don't provide for folder. It is slow to get the initial menu, but once in a book it turns pages quickly with no flash to black. ![]() It connects to your computer with a USB cable, and is read just like a flash drive. Easy to read screen, that is easy on the eyes. Fits inside a suit jacket pocket, pants/jean pocket or a purse. ![]() Small form factor, even compared to other e-readers with a similar size screen. to them I say - "You know nothing John Snow" The sales people there will likely try to talk you out of the purchase to. They are plugged into some kind of master USB source or something, that is not compatible. You can PM at Futurehsop where they sell for $80. It's not for everyone, so no cruddin here please! No wifi, touch screen, no back lighting or colour, not sexy looking, no Angry Birds. I have had one for 2 years, and really like it. The Aluratek E-reader for $50 is the lowest price it has been on sale for.
